Title – AML Compliance Analyst (10 Positions) Pay Rate - $27/hr- $29/hr Long-term contract (Temp to Hire) Job responsibilities: Make autonomous decisions, consulting with management and Senior Investigators on complex issues. Gather accurate evidence on multiple cases, including financial profiles, transaction tracing, and background checks using various systems and tools. Analyze cases for closure or referral, decide on Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and prepare SARs as needed. Document investigation data, including potential losses, investigation status, and regulatory reporting decisions; ensure reports are accurate and timely. Manage sensitive and confidential alerts and cases. Identify and escalate control deficiencies. Have a basic understanding of regulatory guidance related to investigations and SAR completion. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of equivalent experience in compliance or investigations. 2-3 years in investigative roles requiring research and problem-solving skills. Strong research and analytical skills to review information and draw conclusions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Judgment and problem-resolution abilities. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience filing SARs and understanding of regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act, US Patriot Act, and Anti-Money Laundering.
