Job Description

We are seeking a Corporate Coordinator to support our client in Dulles, Va. Please see below for the job description and desired qualifications;

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Performing administrative functions on behalf of the corporate registry, which include the issuing of legal certificates and the acceptance of legal documents for filing. All administrative and corporate duties require a familiarity with the company's Associations law and the Internal Instruction Manual, departmental functions, policies and practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Variety of tasks and responsibilities, such as:
• Answers client/field office emails, faxes and telephone enquiries and requests;
• Provides registry services and documentation processing: company formation, issuing of certificates, filing documents in the public register, recording documents with the client's Trust Company, processing withdrawals, and dissolutions, etc.;
• Coordinates Corporate kit and share certificate requests;
• Arranges shipment of office supplies to Regional offices;
• Processes inter-office mail, and incoming/returned mail;
• Assists with updating reports for automated processes;
• Responds to client account and billing enquiries;
• Reviews and proofs corporate documents for accuracy;
• Processes address change requests;
• Responds to internal requests from the client's Trust Company and other Regional offices;
• Miscellaneous clerical duties such as scanning/uploading documents, and sorting and analyzing monthly mail/reports, issuing invoices, and statement of accounts, and maintaining the monthly mailing report;
• Miscellaneous duties as requested by management level staff.

GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES: Confidentiality and attention to detail is critical to this position Experience, Education and Certification
• High school graduate with at least 2 years of practical experience in an administrative role
• Post high school education preferred in a legal or paralegal discipline Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Use of general office equipment
• Thorough and well developed knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
