About the Role

As the Managing Veterinarian / Medical Director, you will\nplay a key leadership role by:

• Overseeing all aspects of medical operations, from\n protocols to case management
\n
• Leading and mentoring our team of associate\n veterinarians and support staff
\n
• Ensuring full compliance with veterinary regulations\n and licensure requirements
\n
• Driving strategic growth through innovative clinical\n and operational initiatives
\n
• Monitoring financial performance, budget planning,\n and key hospital metrics
\n
• Collaborating with the Hospital Manager to improve\n client experience and practice efficiency
\n

Compensation: 

• Base salary of $120,000–$135,000
• Production-based bonuses
• Generous signing bonus

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
\n
• Active Pennsylvania veterinary license (or ability to\n obtain)
\n
• Previous leadership or management experience is a\n plus
\n
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented\n approach
\n
• Passion for mentorship, growth, and high-quality\n patient care
\n

*Relocation benefits are offered at NVA GP’s discretion and are available only for approved Managing Veterinarian roles within the following states: OH, WV, PA, MD, NJ, NY, MA, RI, CT, VT, NH, ME. Eligibility is dependent on distance moved, business need, and final approval from Talent Acquisition. Payment amounts and criteria may vary by role and are subject to change at any time.  Relocation benefits are not available for local moves (e.g., short-distance moves within the same metro area). NVA GP reserves the right to determine whether a move qualifies as “relocation” based on mileage thresholds, candidate address, and business rationale.
