Responsibilities

• Scheduling Procedures: Organize and schedule all surgical cases across Loyola Medicine and its affiliated operating rooms, and procedural areas, coordination of Pre Admission Testing and follow up visits.
• Insurance & Patient Communication: Handle all communications with our financial clearance center, patients, and their guardians to confirm coverage and provide necessary information.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to make sure patients have the right appointments and are fully informed.
• Administrative Support: Perform essential administrative tasks to keep the department running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Required: High School Diploma, plus relevant training gained through work experience or additional education.
  • Preferred: Completion of 23 years of college, ideally with an administrative or technical focus.
• Experience:
  • Required: At least 1 year of experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
  • Preferred: 3 or more years of scheduling experience is highly desirable, especially in a fast-paced or clinical environment.

Compensation

Pay Range: $19.10 - $24.44 per hour
