Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planning and Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end planning and supply chain operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting. This position requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive performance and efficiency across planning and supply chain.

 

Key Responsibilities



  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain network, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

  • Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to forecast demand accurately and align it with supply capabilities.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective stock control and reorder point planning.

  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials, and manage relationships with key suppliers.

  • Production Planning: Coordinate with production and operations teams to create efficient production schedules that align with demand forecasts.

  • Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze supply chain data and KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present actionable insights to senior management.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the planning and supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)



  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, or logistics roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position



  • Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)



  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills



  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities



  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus



  • APICS/CSCP or other relevant supply chain certifications preferred
