Our client, a local Flooring company in West Austin is seeking a temporary to permanent Project Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in flooring installation to oversee projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ensuring quality workmanship, providing excellent customer service, and managing multiple job sites across the Austin area. Candidates must be in or near Austin, Tx. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm with the potential for overtime. Candidates will start more in office and shift to going onsite to project sites to oversee teams. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (truck preferred). This role pays up to 30hr when temping and 60K when permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of flooring installation projects, including scheduling, coordinating crews, and ensuring timely completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation process, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site visits to verify work meets company standards and resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
• Occasionally pick up materials or supplies as needed to keep projects on track.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management, contracting, or crew chief experience in the flooring industry (required).
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation methods, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Reliable vehicle (truck preferred) and valid driver's license.
