Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for both individual and business clients.
• Compile and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Manage and submit sales tax filings in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Assist in processing payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with team members to address client needs and resolve financial issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting practices.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and other software tools to streamline accounting processes.
• Provide exceptional service and communication to clients regarding their financial matters.• At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Solid understanding of payroll processing and sales tax regulations.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
