Trauma Surgery - Physician at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas - Texas Health Resources summary:

This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Trauma Surgeon with completion of a General Surgery residency and fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma. The role involves coverage at a Level I Trauma center, including general surgery, ICU, and trauma call shifts, within the Texas Health Physicians Group. The hospital provides advanced emergency care and is recognized for high-quality cardiac and stroke care in North Texas.

Requirements :

1. MD or DO candidates
2. General Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
3. Fellowship completion in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical Care
4. Board certified or board eligible in surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery required
5. Active Texas license required
6. Seeking a candidate who can start immediately.

Position Details:

1. Employed position with Texas Health Surgical Specialists by Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG), including attractive compensation and benefits package
2. Join this large, successful, and long-standing practice of physicians and Advance Practice Providers.
3. Schedule to include trauma surgery coverage; on average, each trauma surgeon works approximately 23 shifts per month covering: ACS – General, ICU, Trauma Day, Backup/ICU Home Call, Trauma Night.
4. Office on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, a Level 1 Trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center.
